I grew up and studied in Romania, and after university, I moved to the UK, where I built a career in banking and technology and later completed an MBA at INSEAD. Along the way, I learned that degrees and titles were never the whole story. What truly shaped my path were the people who guided me, the networks that opened doors I didn't even know existed, and those who inspired me during moments when I was unsure of what lay ahead.
For this reason, giving back my time and energy has always felt natural to me. This led me to *Oxford for Romania*, where I joined the board and saw firsthand the difference made when someone takes the time to listen and share what they have learned in life and their career.
Through "Adoptăm Studenți," I would like to support students in a practical way: helping you figure out what you truly want to explore, sharing the perspective of my own career (including the detours), and serving as a trusted voice when you have important decisions to make.
I feel lucky to be able to give back, and I am honored to share what I have learned with the next generation of students in Romania.
