Processing of personal data on the platform Adoptăm Studenți (We adopt students)

According to the requirements of the Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, as amended and supplemented, and of the Law no. 506/2004 regarding the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, Adoptăm Studenți Platform manages the personal data you provide us in a safe manner and only for the specified purposes.

Your name and your data will remain anonymous, unless you tell us you want to go public and we'll add you to the partner category.

The purpose of data collection:

The data we request from you is necessary for the registration of your contributions. The refusal to provide them determines the impossibility of contributing financially to the activities of the platform.

By filling in your data in the forms within the process of registering a financial contribution for a student or for our association, as well as by creating an account on the platform, you express your acceptance that your personal data will be included in the database of the platform.

Adoptăm Studenți also reserves the right to use the anonymous data collected from the website for any purpose with the possibility of disclosing statistics or other reports that do not directly and individually affect the users of the site. Any traffic statistics of our users, which we will provide to third parties or partner sites, except the authorities, are provided only as a set of data and do not include any personally identifiable information about any individual user.

What data we collect:

The Platform collects information from its users in three ways - directly from the user, from traffic reports recorded by the servers hosting the Platform sites and through cookies.

What each of these categories represents:

  • Information provided directly by the user: in order to comply with all legal regulations, the Platform collects personal data (name, address, email, telephone number) and personally identifiable data (results from the photocopy of the identity card).
  • Server traffic report information: When you visit a website, you disclose certain information about yourself, such as your IP address, the time of your visit, the place where you accessed our site from. The Platform, like other operators, records this information.
  • Cookies: in order to offer a personalised service to our users, the Platform may use cookies to facilitate the storage and tracking of your preferences. For example, we may use cookies to identify you and to provide you with information and services based on the preferences you have expressed in your previous visits.

Data sharing:

The Platform does not rent, sell or share personal information about you to third parties. The Platform will not provide the information collected to third parties for use in direct marketing purposes.

Your data may be transferred to European Union countries during the normal operation of the IT infrastructure that supports the platform.

Your personal information may also be provided to the Prosecutor's Office, the Police, the Courts and other competent state bodies, based on and within the limits of legal provisions and as a result of express requests.

According to Law no. 677/2001, you benefit from the right of access, of intervention on the data, the right not to be subjected to an individual decision and the right to go to court.
