For me, the help I received meant far more than just a sum of money. It meant the chance to pursue my dream. (…) I am writing to you now from my dorm room, excited and curious about what lies ahead.
On March 11, 2026, my life took a turn I had only ever dreamed of until that moment. I was admitted to the Global Law program at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. For me, this acceptance meant the world. It was the chance to continue my studies abroad, step out of my comfort zone, and begin a new chapter in my life—one I had worked incredibly hard for.
However, the joy of being accepted was accompanied by a major concern: the financial aspect. Although I knew how much I wanted to study at Bocconi, the costs were a constant worry, and for a time, I wasn't sure if I would be able to take this step. Yet, over time - and with the help of the wonderful people at *Adoptăm Studenți* - that worry gradually turned into hope. The financial support I received gave me the opportunity to move forward and focus on what truly matters to me: my studies, my personal growth, and my future career. For me, the help I received meant far more than just a sum of money; it meant the chance to pursue my dream.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in this process. From the wonderful people who recommended *Adoptăm Studenți* - a source of boundless support, both financial and emotional, that gave me hope that this was possible - to the fundraising, contract drafting, and logistics, every element contributed to making it possible for me to prepare for this new beginning today. The fact that so many people chose to believe in me and support me at such a crucial moment has deeply moved me and given me hope.
I am writing to you now from my dorm room, excited and curious about what lies ahead. It is lovely here, and every morning I wake up grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given - one I promise to make the most of. Looking ahead, I aim to complete this program with strong results, get involved in as many projects as possible, secure internships, and - why not? - have the chance to participate in an exchange program at another university. I want to seize every valuable opportunity that comes my way and grow as much as possible, not only academically and professionally but also personally. Although I am just starting out and don’t know exactly where this journey will lead, I am enjoying every step and every experience to come.
Thank you for your trust, for your generosity, and for choosing to be part of my story. I hope to do my utmost to make the most of this opportunity and, one day, to pay forward the support I have received.
